Residue

Residues contain chemical compounds or soils remaining after cleaning. Incomplete rinsing, mopping or mechanical removal are frequently reasons why residue remains on a surface. Inadequate mopping, for example, will leave a filmy residue of soil or old floor polish on the surface. Additional application of a floor-finishing product would seal the residue onto the floor, typically leaving a cloudy or streaked appearance. Incomplete degreasing of any surface will leave a residue of cleaner, grease and dirt, requiring additional cleanings for More
